At Sun we've got a pretty relaxed dress code.

Especially if you're an engineer.

So while I was in Prague visiting the Sun office, I made the rounds and met as many of those NetBeans techno celeb engineers as I could.

When I ran into this guy...

guy wearing a tie

... I thought sales... definitely sales.

Wrong.

Meet Lubomir Cincura. He's a developer -- a bona fide engineer.

??????????

"I used to work for a German company," he tells me.

That explained everything.

;-)

Comments:

Or perhaps this engineer is aware of McNealy's big announcement to come shortly? (hint: today)...

I must object! Not all engineers in German companies wear ties! -- Olaf

I agree with Olaf. The only possible explanation could be that he worked for a bank...
