The place to be this week is the SXSW conference.
The bad news: I'm not there.
The good news: I get a finger on the pluse of what's going on there by tuning into the AWESOME blogger coverage that's coming out of there.
You gotta check out the SDN'sider. Heidi and Jenn are there giving you the play-by-play... about Michael Eisner, Mark Cuban, the SXSW party in SL ... it's one tasty morsel after another, you guys.
Put it on your "MCO" (must check out) list and then give it a little RSS action and subscribe.
Because you just know this is a harbinger of things to come for JavaOne. Not that I have any inside knowledge. Now this is the bar.
So I'm just sayin'
You need to subscribe to SDN'sider, people.
But wait, there's more.
Think we're done?
Not these gals.
Twitter. The SWSW twitter feed.
You guys, this is awesome stuff.
Finger on the pluse is completely insufficient as far as metaphors go.
(But I'll refrain from taking it further because this is a family rated program.)
:-)
Heidi and Jenn, you guys ROCKED on this stuff.
Awesome work.
Thanks for making it easy for people like me (who weren't there) to feel like they were.
:-)
Mary
p.s. I don't want to hear it. It's a perfectly acceptable use of the word harbinger. Just to let you know upfront. I'm comfortable using it that way and I'm not going to change it.
You are full of surprises. Last night I was reading in my keyboard magazine about this SXSW conference and today I find this blog. I didn't know that you are a musician too.
