if you want to kiss the sky better learn how to kneel, people.

HUGE big day today.

Let's get this party started with Friday Free Stuff!!

FREE T-SHIRTS!!

Here's how it goes:

1. Go get yourself a Get Java Powered logo and stick it on your website or blog.

the logo

2. Send me a pointer to your website/blog with the Get Java Powered logo on it (by posting a comment to this blog entry). No cheating, please. You risk getting blacklisted if you steal. Please go through the process get it fair and square. It's free. And painless.

3. I send you a T-shirt free of charge (postage included).

Here's a picture of the most lovely and talented Jami modeling the t-shirt

Jami looking all gorgeous

Jami ROCKS, you guys. She is personally responsible for a substantial shipment of free stuff falling off the truck right in front of my house. You my lovelies -- YOU -- are the personal beneficiaries of this. Please join me in thanking Jami. She's awesome. She also happens to move in mysterious ways.

OK. Gotta go.

I'm gonna go on a dive with my brother Johnny. He's going to let me talk about the things you can't explain.

(hint, hint.)

mary

p.s. stay tuned. i got HUGE news. HUGE. shift. reload.

p.p.s. i'm behind on fulfillment on Friday Free Stuff. I got a ton of stuff to send out from previous weeks and also i need to make the rounds and collect addresses from last week. bear with me. when you find out what i've been working on, you'll understand.

Mary, Now that I put the logo on my website does that mean I should put some effort into making it a bit more worthwhile? :) Thanks for all the cool free stuff. Bryan

[Trackback] I was gonna get cool swag , but then there was a stupid form at the end just to download a graphic. Sorry, not even a free T-shirt can tempt me.

I can't quite justify trading my job for a t-shirt by putting the logo on MLB.com, so I put it on my blog instead... http://www.psychicfriends.net/blog/archives/2005/02/25/java_powered.html

I gotta have that shirt! Logo is on my blog.

Hi, I know I'm a little late, but can I have the magnetic bumper sticker? :) BTW, suggestion to Sun: From time to time you change the get Java logo... I've been using them for three "generations". I think Sun should send an e-mail to the people who applied to an old logo warning the logo has changed and asking if the person wants to use the new one.

Guys!!

Now, I have empowered my blog with Java logo.

My Blog entry too is JAVA POWERED <img src = "http://blogs.sun.com/roller/resources/mary/get_powered_sm_ani.gif" </img> <h1> Doesnt this looks good? </h1> Enjoy the world of Java technology!

As usual, I'm a little late to the party, but I've officially tattooed the Java logo across my forehead... er, I mean, my blog! It took me a while to get the file downloaded correctly. I'm sure it was something I was doing wrong... Sure, I can write a brilliant J2EE app, but I can't download a simple file! Also, thanks to Mary for an indirect benefit of this post. Via the comments, it is enabling us to find the blogs of like-minded people. Truly, a value-added blog entry! ;) Thanks, Mary!

I sent out a bunch of stuff earlier in the week. I'll make another Post Office run on Saturday. So if you're one of my winners, please shoot me a note with your mailing address.
