I did it.
I submitted a session for JavaOne.
That's right. I'm your run-of-the-mill marketing girl. And I've submitted a session for JavaOne which I think has a reasonable chance of being accepted.
I can't tell you what it is yet.
I don't want anybody stealing my idea.
Not that I'm really worried about you techno celeb regular blog readers, whom I love and adore.
I know you have higher standards.
It's those snipers. Those readers peek in on me just to see what I'm doing. Those are the guys who might steal my idea.
So I'm not telling.
Until the call for papers closes on January 31.

On the other hand, every couple of years or so, Sun TechDays seems to blow through Seattle. While it's no JavaOne, it inspires and gives hope to Java developers living in the Shadow of the Beast. :)
