I am 5 feet 5 inches tall. About 165 cm. Sometimes I lie and say that
I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall. I always buy high heels to give me a boost.
In short, I've spent pretty much all of my adult life wishing I was taller.
Until this fashion trend swept the globe:

The low rider jeans phenomenon.
Now, I wish that I was two inches shorter.
Because maybe, if I was two inches shorter, maybe, just maybe my jeans would fit.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great. I love it that these youngsters are totally working the fasion trends. No issues there.
It's just that I'm not a youngster. And I don't have a youngster's
belly. I have a post-partum3 belly. And while I do my absolute best to
keep it from pouching out, it's never going to be a youngster's belly
agin.
And therein my problem. It is absolutely impossible to find jeans nowadays that don't go low.
It drives me bananas.
Even on Meez.com.
So last night I'm working on my Meez.
I found out about Meez on Java.com,
which is my all-time favorite destination for staying down with what's
hot with the hipsters and the techno trendy.
In fact, I think that the
low rider jeans trend started on Java.com, if I'm not mistaken.
:-)
Even on Meez, I could not find jeans that fit.
(My girls were helping me build out my Meez.
They had me riding the horses and doing cheerleading moves .... they totally loved
it. My little one asked me: "How do we make her fatter so she can look
more like you, Mommy." From the mouths of babes.... we digress.)
The point is that it is absolutely impossible to find jeans that fit nowadays.
And it drives me absolutely bananas.
Thanks for indulging.
:-)
