What do you suppose it was I read in the news this morning that made me want to put on my Norway hat...

Norway, Sun Microsystems to Create World's First, Open Web 2.0 Gov't

(BI) Michael Worringer

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Sun Microsystems announced that the Norwegian government has deployed a combination of Sun hardware and software technologies as the foundation of its national rollout of the "eNorway 2009" initiative designed to provide the country's citizens with Web-based access and support for all government services.

Full Story.

Mary

p.s. Norway is one of my favorite places in the world. It's no coincidence I've got a Norway hat.

Comments:

The Hat! The Hat!... We need to see The Hat! ;^)

We developed a rating scale for Norwegian hats while on vacation there. Very simple. The better the hat, the more 't's it is spelled with.

Hence:
- English/US hats... pretty average, therefore only one 't';
- Norwegian hatts... spelled with 2 't's by default, therefore generally better than plain hats (cf. one of the Moomintroll books, original title "Trollkarlens Hatt" - translated as The Hobgoblins's Hat);
- Elk-fur headpiece with hand-woven woollen band: definitely a hattt.
