Explicitly and without apology a marketing vehicle MaryMaryQuiteContrary

happy to see you well, my friends, RFID is where it's at.

if you are in the business of making something and selling it to a customer... well, i see RFID in your future. and i didn't even need to read the tea leaves to tell you that.

can i just tell you that Sun Microsystems is so all over this.

for starters we've got a 17,000 square foot state-of-the-art testing facility for our customers to simulate RFID deployments and learn more about the technology.

Remember when the first Bush got all excited about bar codes at the supermarket? Just think what Bush Jr will do when he gets wind of this...

i could go on and on... but why do that when i can employ my most favorite and utterly effective marketing technique: copy, paste.

RFID deployment deadlines - from the likes of Wal-Mart and the DOD - loom large. Worried? Don't be. that's just the way it goes.

love you, baby! big kiss!

(please refrain from wiping it off with the back of your hand until i've tuned away)

Comments:

i wouldnt get TOO excited by RFID. Already, there are hacker tools to get at the info in RFID tags. http://asia.cnet.com/newstech/security/0,39001150,39188522,00.htm here's a thoughtdump, from circa 2015 AD - latest celeb craze is for RFID wardriving hackers to find out what the latest pop/film celeb is buying for his/her breakfast. Easy to do with RFID - just sit outside the celebs place and wait for the Google-Mart truck to arrive. Scan. Download. Uplink to celeb thrash-blog. in other words , the privacy concerns will mount , as more people become aware of RFID.

Well...RFID tags are really nice but it is not just a technical concern that people might have but also a data privacy issue. Think that department stores can track you with all your goods within the store and find out all your quirks. Why do they need this kind of information ? With RFID tags they will get this information.
