I had a really good day yesterday, you guys.
I met with two non profits that I think have high potential.
I got an award... the Brand Leadership award at Sun... It's a quarterly thing for the Brand organization at Sun... I was one of a few people to receive it this quarter. Totally jazzed. Especially since I hear it comes with money ($500). So I'm jazzed and loaded.

I saw Anil Gadre, Sun's Chief Marketing Officer (my bossn boss) and the following amazing things happened:
- He came to our Brand All-Hands.
- He recognized me. :-)
- He (thoughtfully) listened to some ideas I have. Double :-)
I just sent him follow-up email. It's related to this.
(Because you know me... once I've got an opening I totally dive right in. )
So yesterday I had an awesome day.
And today I'm going to have an even better one.
Because I'm going home.
I'm on the first flight out.
I land late afternoon.
If all goes well (fingers crossed making it hard to type), I'll get there just in time to see my eldest's soccer game tonight.
We're going to have the best weekend. It's packed w/Christmas stuff.
And I think it's supposed to snow.
