you guys,

i found the coolest resource...

if you're new to Java or even if you've got 10 years Java development experience*, you're going to find this useful...

Check out the Java Technology Concept Map. It's an interactive diagram, a web of linked terms, to show the relationships among and uses of the Java technologies. You can use the Map to get an overview of the Java landscape as well as learn more about the details of its components.

please credit my account for pointing you to this one.

*The Java platform has only been around for nine years. so you don't have 10 years Java development experience, my friend. please update your resume accordingly. you can thank me later.

It's a pretty cool map.

In fact, we gat a couple of posters with it in last year's JavaOne conference. They're pretty cool.

In fact we have one in a wall in our lab, customers really seem to enjoy it.

...I only regret that ours has the old Java logo on it

Re: dl's comments -- i'm going to give it all i've got and give him a run for his money. re: Oscar's comments... i got new java log stickers... i'll send you some... maybe that will help. but in terms of long term fix... i'll see if i can get my hands on some new posters. and if i do, we'll be giving them away in this space... stay tuned. mary
