My first attempt at a blog, makes one beg the question what is a blog all about. And I know I'm not the first person to state that in their first blog !
So are there guidelines out there on what you should blog about ?, how you should blog ? who you should blog about ?, does anybody care ?
I suppose you should really give some history about yourself, so that people have a perspective on where your opinions come from.
Well here's a quick summary of Me...

Then moved on the initial Gnome 2.0 releases made on Solaris, This then rolled into what became JDS 1 (Gnome 2.2), then JDS 2 (Gnome 2.4) and now JDS 3 (Gnome 2.6), now with OpenSolaris the next while is going to be REALLY busy. |

There ya go, I've been around the IT industry since finishing college back in 1991, and I've worked on some diverse stuff, Informix 4gl, Minitel, Even Windows !!!
It will take some time/effort on my behalf to get used to blogging on a regular basis, but I'm definitely willing to give it a go....
