In past six months, I passed several certifications exams. I became:
  • Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition. Exam was on EJB 2.0 .
  • Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5. Exam was on EJB 3.0.
  • Sun Certified Java CAPS Integrator (CX-310-502).

As Greg Anderson has said, "Focus on the journey, not the destination.Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it."

I enjoyed and I had fun in doing the preparation and getting certified.

I have been certified in many technologies. However, Sun Certified Java CAPS Integrator (CX-310-502) exam was something I did for the first time. This exam is based on a product, while all my prior certification exams were based on technologies.

Continuinng on that note of doing something for the first time, last January I passed Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level - 4(aka JLPT 4). Many thanks to my Senseis.

We all have untapped or hidden skills and talents. I am continuing to do something that is for the first time for me. When was the last time you did something for the first time? Stretch yourself, and experience as many new adventures as you can.
