Comments:

As a writer for the NetBeans Mobility pack, I'm very interested in how you (and other developers) go about learning J2ME technologies. What tools (if any) do you plan to use? Looking forward to seeing your future posts...

Glad to see comments on my first blog entry!! That gave me so much encouragement. It will have profound effect for a long time. Thank you.

I prefer to use plain text editor for development. I was using Joe to write code on Linux platforms. When my former boss insisted me to use VI, I was so much delighted with VI's commands for rapid cut/copy/paste and other editing work. When I started working on Windows platforms, I used Notepad for sometime, and then I switched to TextPad. You can say, I love primitives :-)

For deployment and testing of my J2ME based programs and projects, I use Wireless toolkit for J2ME .

Keep me encouraged by shower of your comments, I love to get soaked!

Regards,
Mehul
