And the winner is ...

I mentioned recently that my family and I were on a TV show in China, it's kind of like "American Idol" but families compete on this show rather than individuals.

The winner is going to be announced this Sunday, here are the details:
DATE: Sunday, Sep. 30
TIME: 8:55 pm
CHANNEL: Travel Channel

Although you can see a vote tally on the website now, it doesn't tell the whole story - it's not displaying the votes that came in via cell phone. So when they announce the winners on Sunday it will be a surprise.

That said, I really really do not think our family won.

Nonetheless I don't regret doing the show at all. It was a total blast, I would do it all over again if I had the chance. But I think I would skip the full-body spandex suit this time.

BTW I'll upload this show to youtube for our international friends. Will post a blog when that's done.

Maybe, you or someone else could craft a java app that would make the voting process more efficent and all-encompassing(inclusive of the cell phone vote)? At least it would be done, and all future programs could use it. Might make yourself a million bucks in the process, too...:)

p.s. Congrats on the show!

My husband had the same idea Javaguy! From a technical perspective it's a great idea. From an ethical one...I dunno. :)
