As previously discussed, Google sends wishful Michael Jordan fans to my blog. I've decided that for each search term, I'm going to create a posting (even though they aren't really interested in me). So don't blame me if this isn't something you are interested in...I'm just trying to give the people what they ask for.
I think the reason people are searching for "Michael Jordan's Workout Regime" is because I'm so huge. I didn't want to bring it up, but, yeah, I'm pretty buff. And I'm not nearly as fat as I once was (although as Chris Rock says, there's nothing wrong with being fat).
It's important for corporate folks to work out. I went to the doctor last year because all the signs on the workout equipment say you should consult a physician before beginning a new exercise program. So I wanted to see just what kind of advice he would give me. He said, "Eat less and exercise more." I said, "Thank God my insurance is paying for this visit."
Well, losing weight is no joke. But I can't just do that on its own -- I have to read or listen to the news or something at the same time. So I usually print out either some book summaries or bring along the HBR, or some presentations people send me (stuff that if I sweat on it it's ok). 30-45 minutes on the elliptical 4-5 days a week works for me. I know other people do a lot more. But I don't want to screw around with my habit just for the sake of variety.
