Frontline: A Company of Soldiers
From time to time I personally label PBS's Frontline as a leftist-liberal-anti-everything-conservative propoganda channel. Which, in reality, means that it does a pretty good job of presenting news through a clear and unbiased fashion. They've come through again.Last Tuesday's Episode, A Company of Soldiers, was terribly moving and stirring, and one of the best programs I have seen on television recenty. This was a deep embed of a company stationed in Bahgdad last November.
Whether you love or hate our leadership (I find myself doing a bit of both these days), we all should continue to send our best wishes and prayers to our men and women in uniform serving their country. Right or wrong, they are there and they are in harm's way. I think most of us can identify with the rank and file of our armed forces, who live closer to home -- than with our leaders, who tend to be a lot harder to reach out and touch.
If you have a chance, catch the show.
