Cloud in action - OpenOffice extention 'Save to the Cloud'

Sun Cloud internal beta just got started. (Am I supposed to share this? I believe it should be ok as Jonathan shared some stuff already in his blog)

What does this mean to you and me who's not the active developer but a casual user of productivity tools? You can rely on the network "cloud" for your storage of your valuable documents. You don't have to worry about carrying USB Memory Stick or Laptop for your document. Still don't get it? See the small picture below.

With proper OpenOffice extention, now you can save ( "Save to cloud" ) or load ( "Read from cloud" ) from the Sun storage cloud.

What a convenience! As long as there is an internet connection, I can use anybody's laptop to access my OpenOffice documents. In addition, with WebDAV support, you can use your Sun storage cloud just like any external hard drive. More on this in a later blog.

Cloud is in action. Network is the computer. Sun's tagline makes more sense now with Sun Cloud offerings!!!
