BeleniX 0.4.2 Released
The BeleniX LiveCD version 0.4.2 was released today. Among a host of bugfixes and upgrades, it also improves the boottime performance further. Several simplifications were made to various services and 4 more services were disabled.
In addition the compression segment size has been increased to 128KB. This has various implications that I will discuss in a subsequent blog post.
I have not yet noticed any new screenshots of the latest wallpapers in BeleniX for I am including a couple of screenshots of Xfce and KDE in BeleniX 0.4.2 here. The Xfce wallpaper was done entirely in Gimp. The KDE one is courtesy of Chandan
