Canadian Citizenship Test on iPhone

One of my Canadian friends got a new software on his iPhone. This app is for him to prepare for his coming Canadian citizenship test next month. I took a look at the iPhone app: iCitizenship - Canada, it is indeed pretty neat. It allows you to have a citizenship practice test of 5-50 questions on your iPhone or iPod Touch. It can track the time like the acutal test. It also provides learning material for people to study.

This app reminds me of a citizenship test software on PC. The software basically has the same functions as the iphone app. Again, we can see that smart phone is probably in a trend to replace some of PC's functionalities. In fact, iphone is probably more like a computer than a phone. It runs standard UNIX(BSD) and has open APIs for programmers. Perhaps ten years from now, every phone will be "smart". What technologies will thrive at that time? Maybe Java ME or JavaFX has a chance.
