The SNIA Announces its 2009 Technical Council
Dallas (October 13, 2008) - The Storage Networking
Industry Association (SNIA) is pleased to announce its 2009 Technical
Council responsible for providing guidance and direction on the
numerous technical activities of the SNIA. The SNIA's membership elects
seven Technical Council members and the SNIA Board of Directors
appoints up to two additional members. The Technical Council leaders
are the Chairman and Vice-Chairman. They were elected by the Technical
Council members at the Storage Networking World Fall 2008 conference.
The 2009 SNIA Technical Council members and their roles are:
- Dave Thiel (HP), Chairman
- Alan Yoder (NetApp), Vice Chairman
- Duane Baldwin (IBM), Member
- Mark Carlson (Sun), Member
- Don Deel (EMC), Member
- Eric Hibbard (Hitachi Data Systems), Member
- Erik Riedel (Seagate), Member
- Steve Wilson (Brocade), Member
