Look at these...

Was reading through Rossi's autobiography last day. though not really a classic or anything, it is a must read for any Rossi fan - or a motogp fan, for that matter. It's even really funny at times, his language and the way he perceives things. He describes one incident during the Suzuka 8 hour race.

Rossi is on the Honda VTR, and is flying down the long straight with Hitoyasu Izutsu on the Honda and Yukio Kagayama on the Suzuki in hot pursuit. He has a braking issue then, and needs to adjust the brakes for more stopping power: so as he screams down the straight, he tries fixing it.

But unfortunately, the adjustment on the VTR is exactly opposite to the way it is rigged up on Rossi's NSR; so not surprisingly, he ends up reducing the braking..

So he comes fast into the corner, and sees that there is hardly any braking, hits the wall and flies through the air "like a puppet". He is still airborne when he hears two more resounding crashes - bham! bham!. As he lands in the gravel, both kagayama and izutsu come flying and crash down next to him, and within a second another rider flies through the air and joins them!

Lying there, Rossi asks them what happened. Izutsu replies: well, we noticed that you are not braking, and so we decided that "we will not brake until he does!"

Rossi smiles and says "well done!", but privately he thinks: "Look at these imbeciles!"
