From a Yamaha/Rossi fan's point of view, watching this year's Motogp has
been a painful affair...so far. The Ducati is breathtakingly dominant on
the straights, while not being that-much-of-a-pig in the corners. With
Stoner doing a solid job, so far it's been a demolition job.
Still, it's
so very obvious that the Ducati scores only on the straights. Rossi's dominant
win at Jerez confirm this, too. Anyway looking at the races with the length
of the main straight in mind, here's my predictions. I might get every one
of this wrong, but it's been fun. I know i've left out Hopkins, Terrible Tony,
Hayden, etc. But anyway:

I've given 6 wins to Rossi. My logic is simple - Last year, he won 5 races
despite coping with an absolute crappy bike and tons of other bad luck. The
man's talent isn't going anywhere, his luck can only get better, and his bike
is definitely better. So, on the conservative side, i've decided he is gonna
win 7 races.
I can't imagine Honda not upping the game and Pedrosa not winning anything. Same
with Melandri. So with Capirossi. So i've given them a few too, but i've left
out Hayden - because i really can't imagine him wining anything. Maybe it's my
lack of imagination. Anyway.
