NCA and Proxy 4.0

So what's NCA? NCA is Sun's Network Cache Accelerator, which is an in-kernel web accelerator. If anyone out there is trying to, or planning to, use Proxy 4.0 with NCA then it's not a good idea. AFAIK NCA does not support Proxy-specific headers. For example, "Proxy-Authorization".

You won't face any issues with setting up and configuring Proxy 4.0 to use NCA - just follow the same instructions as applicable to Sun's webserver. But during runtime, there is a clear lack of Proxy support. For example, requests with an accompanying "Proxy-authorization" header do get served from the kernel cache.
