Goodbye Ant , Welcome Maven 2
After years of using Ant for building my applications, I have moved to something different, Apache Maven 2.
And now it seems there is no looking back. Maven has been doing a great job and I have no complaints. If you haven't tried out Maven yet, I urge you to. Truth is, you will not understand why you need Maven until you start using it.
My only gripe with Maven is that it does not understand the Java Blueprints structure out-of-the-box. I think it should. It will make lives easier for a lot more Java developers.
Incidentally, the Open Source Portlet Repository project uses Maven 2.
