Sun Java System Portal Server Quick Installation - Online Demo

Many first time users are overwhelmed by the different options and inputs required to install and configure the Sun Portal server. This is not surprising. The Sun Portal lies on the top of the Sun Java Enterprise System stack, a fully integrated suite of enterprise software and install/config of the portal implies install/config of the entire stack that lies underneath it.

The screencast below shows you how to get started with Portal as quickly as possible. It uses default options for most inputs and does not consider installation of value added services on top of portal like SRA.

The screencast is about 11 MB and will take a few minutes to load, depending upon bandwidth. Best viewed when your browser is in the full screen mode.
