Switching off your portal ?
The Light Portal Project seems to have come up with an interesting concept. It allows you to plugin a portal into an otherwise .. err.. non-portal application. Net result: you can move from your web application to the portal seamlessly. Yes .. yes .. it's all Ajax (and supports JSR 168)
