How not to upgrade to Firefox 2.0

Like probably many I was lured by the great news preceeding the release of Firefox (FF) 2.0
that it's already available from some mirrors. But FF 2.0 is still not officially released so the browser I'm writing this post in *is not FF 2.0*.
As mentioned, some builds of FF 2.0 are available from some mirrors, but they might not be the final releases as FF 2.0 has not been released officially yet.

I'm looking forward to an upgrade. I've been using RC2 and RC3 first under different user account to avoid any possible problems with upgrading or lost passwords (as it happend once to me with 1.0.x and deadly mix of extensions (now it can not happen, because they're called Add-ons ;-) )), and later with my upgraded 1.5.x setup.

So far, with RC2 and RC3 and Not2.0 all seems to be running just fine, some things even much better. I've had the feeling that FF 1.5 open new windows a bit slowly, but that can be due to some of the plugins. FF 2.0RC does much better in this regard.
The only plugin I'm still missing in FF 2.0 is SwitchProxy. I would have missed del.icio.us plugin if I did not replace it with a live bookmark.
