From the command line, run:

pfexec pkg install openoffice

Hello, i got a problem.i have installed open solaris in my system.But i could not install the drivers when i kept my motherboard cd,it is not working for this operating systems.could you please suggest me in this regard.i have an another problem, when i download any file from net, they are not opening,showing some error message like preferences are not correct, asking me to change the preferences.please help me.

Hi Manoj,

Try running the Device Driver Utility (Applications > System Tools) to see what drivers are missing.

With regards to file downloads, what type of file are you trying to download?
