Hi All
I'm wifi'd in to the network at the airport in Seattle, having this AA1 be able to do suspend / resume correctly is magic.
So this is our technical agenda for next week with Sun laptop engineering group. I've added the suggestion speed startup and shutdown times.
Any other items to do with hardware issues, please feel free to comment.

DELL Mini9
I'm meeting a guy in MPK Wednesday to help get his
DELL Mini9 working so we can add this to tested list
Will have to see what hardware it has.
AA1 10" version
I've ordered one of these but they are not in the USA (in black) yet
Changed the order to Blue should get it next Friday, hopefully it's exactly the same hardware as the 8.9" AA1 just bigger.
It does look like it has hatches on the bottom to change HDD, Memory or WiFi card, this will be much better.
Great news, good to hear that things are moving forward with laptop support.
Which build are you running on the AA1? I am running SXCE b104 at the moment, but I am thinking of upgrading to b108. Giving Perl training today, and the AA1 works perfectly with the projector.

Hi, I have followed your blogs and eventually put B108 on the AA1. The only issue with the SD card that I have is that the cards need to be present during boot up in order that they are recognised (even then they have to be removed and re-inserted at the boot procedure is complete). Is this an issue that you have seen and are planning on resolving?
I have also tested various linux distros and the wifi is much more stable with OpenSolaris.
Also I do not seem to have the correct keyboard mapping for the UK AA1. I have used the same settings as for a Dell Dimension with 2008.11 but it is not correct. Have you any ideas?

Hi Dave,
Been a while since I got to mess w/ OpenSolaris on my Dell Mini 9, but I installed 0906-B108 on it the other day. Everything but the SD card was working after the initial install. :-) After installing your patched SD driver, that was fine as well. The only issue I had was sleep/resume didn't work correctly. BTW, I swap out the stock Broadcom Wifi card w/ an Intel one when I use OpenSolaris on it. :-) If sleep/resume worked out of the box on the Mini9, I'd run OpenSolaris 100% of the time. It's amazing what you can cram onto a 8 gig internal Flash disk when running OpenSolaris. Take care & enjoy your trip.

I've actually got a problem, I can't seem to get it installed. I run it off a cd on a USB dvd drive but find that it gets to the part when the Xorg based installer is meant to start but it just sits there at the login screen and the installer doesn't start. How does everyone else get it installed on their Acer Aspire One (mine being an AOA150).
