Ceo Giunti Labs,
Chair European Learning Industry Group
Abstract
This seminar is organised by Giunti Labs Europe's leading online and mobile learning content management solutions provider which recently acquired the SUN certified Harvestroad Hive DR technology from the Australian stock exchange adding rich media, mobile and virtual content production and rendering capabilities to its now newly released Harvestroad Hive 4 version.
The seminar will discuss the potential strength of blending knowledge, learning and publishing repository solutions and standards (such as MIT's OKI OSIDs, OAI, JR36 and Zing) to implement service oriented architectures, based on open, federated and distributed knowledge repositories access standards empowering new generation educational, knowledge and performance support solutions.
The seminar will also introduce and demo real world case studies as well as flagship EU Research Projects such as Sculpteur (www.sculpteurweb.org) Irmos (www.irmosproject.eu) and Mobilearn (www.mobilearn.org) adding Mobile, Rich and Virtual Worlds digital assets management to the equation.

Ex Libris will be having an in-depth session on Rosetta after the formal meeting on Friday, June 26, 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Please RSVP at; http://www.exlibrisgroup.com/category/Rosetta_Seminar.
Ex Libris: Securing the Future of Information and Libraries – An In-depth Review
Increasingly, the world’s cumulative knowledge and cultural heritage is being created in or converted to digital format, and is being stored digitally. Libraries are tasked to preserve and provide long-term access to these digital collections. Ex Libris has a solution to this challenge — the Rosetta digital preservation system — which ensures that Websites, digital images, CDs, DVDs, and other digitally born and digitized items in the library’s growing digital collections will be preserved and remain accessible to researchers, students, and library users now and in the future. Join us to see Ex Libris Rosetta and how it is working at the National Library of New Zealand.
