We have been working hard on improving our customer's experience with Solaris Patches and updates. Besides providing learning opportunities for Solaris 10 SysAdmins, we are also redesigning some of our existing tools and creating new ones in order to promote all the information that is available around Patching in an easier and more intuitive manner.
In June, we released a new version of the PatchFinder utility now available on the SunSolve website at: http://sunsolve.sun.com/patchfinder.
This version includes improvements that allows SysAdmins to search for a patch by PatchID, CR #, Keyword, Synopsis, OS Release, Architecture, and other relevant criteria, providing a far more sophisticated patch search experience.
