Excellent books by Robert Harris I have just finished reading Harris's book Enigma . I read one of his other fiction books named after the city Pompei which was destroyed when the volcano Vesuvius erupted . To describe much of these books would destroy the pleasure of reading them I think. Both books are well written and Harris is careful to tell his story well after painstaking research into his subject. I honestly had trouble putting them both down especially Enigma. Luckily for me I have two others of his to read "Fatherland" and "Archangel". A bit about the author, he was a reporter on the Panorama and Newsnight programmes and then went onto newspapers first as the Political editor of the Observer paper and then the Sunday Times .
