I am afraid this only benefits UK residents and I only heard about it from my local chemist the other day - it is not well advertised but it is clear why. You basically buy a Certificate to cover the cost of prescriptions for either four or twelve months. I take two prescriptions per day and this rises to five in the hay fever season. My twelve month Certificate cost me nintey five pounds and given each prescription costs over six pounds each its clear even with that I am already saving money with the Certificate. So in the hay fever season I am saving a lot of money. More info can be found at here or pick up a leaflet at your chemist etc. ( Jun 28 2006, 12:00:01 AM PDT ) Permalink |
