A change in sponsorship and tyres

As expected Michelin will quit F1 at the end of the 2006 season. The FIA have been on their backs since Michelin were held responsible for the farce that was this years US GP. The FIA have made it clear they want only one tyre manufacturer in the future and we all know who that will be. Michelin have also been dissapointed with the way F1 is runs, it strangles innovation they would politely say.. The teams who moved to Bridgestone for 2006 will be smiling they will have one years extra experience before everyone is on that rubber in 2007.

On the sponorship side Mclaren have grabbed Vodaphone off Ferrari's hands and from next year their money will be heading to team mac. I don't suppose Ferrari will even notice the loss of incoming funds..

I am looking forward for the new mclaren, althouhg it would be a bit confusing having a second scarlet car on the pit. I am wondering how the new car is gonna look like. Well it does really matter since it MUST be kimis year this year. I will enjoy kimi outperforming button again ( /me hides) Should be more fun than this year. ANd paul i just realised i still have failed to watch the japanese gp. I packet the dvd recording ... :(
