Time to put the Polyanthus to bed for the summer This years Polyanthus were even better than last year . To save buying new plants every year I take them out of the ground and put them somewhere shady out of the direct summer sun.
I use plastic troughs and put the plants in them and make sure they are kept fairly moist during the summer. This is better than throwing them away or trying to keep them alive in the heat of summer in their regular spot in the garden.
