Work

I've been with Sun for 7 years in Professional Services.   I primarily do large systems, HA clusters, Oracle 9iRAC clusters and performance and capacity planning on these systems for our customers.  I will talk more about my work later.

Hey Paul looking forward to your weblog entries :) Quick question i'm currently doing a 10g RAC setup for my company on Solaris and was wondering what type of machines do you recommened for your clients who want to use a 4 node RAC setup. After lots of thought I decided to go with 280R's probably because it was the smallest system to offer IIICu procs, also just wonder what are your thoughts on the penalty of RAC on say my 2nd choice which would have been V240's with their small cache on Oracle.
