Sun/AMD Presentation on Sun Servers

Sun Microsystems is pleased to offer a presentation on our family of Server products on Monday, January 28th on the Penn State University Park campus. This demonstration is intended only for select faculty and staff of Penn State, but I have been given permission to invite a very small selection of interested students to join us as well.

In order to attend, you MUST let me know by 3:00 PM today, Friday January 25th.

Please email your intention to attend to gregory.corbin-AT-sun-DOT-com. I have only 2 available slots, so don't delay. The event will take place from 11-2 PM on Monday. Please let me know ASAP; I will reserve solely on a first come, first served basis. I'll pass along the details to those who I've made a reservation for over the weekend.

If you do not hear back from me by Sunday, January 27th, both slots have been filled. Please do not try to gain admittance by showing up at the event uninvited; you will be politely turned away. For those attending, attire will be business casual at minimum.

I apologize in advance to those who I'm unable to grant admission for this event. I will, however, be conducting future Sun™ technology demonstrations open to the student body on campus throughout the Spring semester, so check back here often for details. Tentative future plans include a seminar on the JavaFX scripting language in early February. I'm aiming for Feb 6th, but I'll have more details on this later.
