I like the creative notices when something goes wrong on some of the web 2.0 sites like
Technorati: Sorry! We have a zillion pages, but not that one.
Google: There are so many reasons that this might have happened we can scarcely bring ourselves to type them all out.

5 secrets about me!
I got tagged ... not once but twice .... The first time by Volker Seubert, our Web2 .0 HR guru and the second time by my boss Dan Berg, VP GSE EMEA and CTO GSS.
Since I get called Reiser 2.0 (or even better Volker called me recently Reiser 3.0) . it's about time to disclose a few secrets about myself.
- I grew up just about 15 miles away from Andy Bechtolsheim
Andy grew up in Lindau,Germany and I grew up in Goldach, Switzerland. Only the Lake of Constance were between us. - I am left handed
Yepp - and there is a interesting article about left handers in Wikipedia. BTW people told my that left handed people are more sensitive. I am not sure if I can prove this point.... - My secret Nick name is "Petrocelli"
Do you know the TV Series about the lawyer who was living in a motor home and was building his house .. and it took forever?
Actually I am not living in a motor home but one if my biggest passion is fixing up our 300+ year house and combine old construction architecture with modern design (and technology). check out my flickr photos. - Wine
Not really a secret for people who know me but I love wine .. and I have a little Wine Cellar - I am very curious
and last but no least I am very curious . Whether its technology, construction design, sociology or psychology I am very interested to learn more about these topics. I strongly believe that innovation only happens trough mashups of variety of disciplines...

Web 2.0 in person party - the result
Yesterday we celebrated our Web 2.0 in person party
It was kind of a people and topic mesh-up of
- House warming party
- Art vernissage with Reinhard Schmid (check out his site )
- my birthsday (yes I know I am looking older but I just turned 45...)
- IC framework partner event
We had over 50 people joining the party and I enjoyed the event very much..

Also I got a VERY nice toy as a birthday gift - a Squeezebox
It is a linux based box which delivers audio from the Internet to your HiFi system.
It has an open source community around it which builds extension like games, interfaces to
other systems etc.
And it can also display RSS feeds while it plays your favorite MP3 songs.
I can now see real time the Sun bloggers RSS feed while I am listening to music in the living room
