apple, intel, yawn.
here is what i think: this is not a big deal. apple has a medium-grade
operating system, mostly first class industrial design, very good to excellent [depending
on where you look] UI design. all it needs is a common denominator architecture to
compete more effectively, and get more mileage out of the first three. better energy
usage, less heat. [drm gets
mentioned, but that is just some potentially useful side detail for the future]
