Donating funds to Tsunami relief efforts

If you are looking for ways to contribute to the Tsunami relief effort, please use the AidIndia organization. This is a reputed organization registered with the Federal Government. I personally know many friends volunteering relief effort in Tamil Nadu, India now. All donations to AID are 100% tax-deductible, under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

Good job done. I still wonder the results. Here in Coimbatore, lot of people and organisations participated in Tsunami relief. Coimbatore collector office and official collection center was full of food grains, clothing and medicines. We don't know how it was distributed. The logistics support is not an easy job. I have to commend the state government effort in handling the situation. Central NDA government did their part orally. I am sorry to say about it. Rehablitation efforts are going on but not at a needed pace.
