Moving on .....
Although this is a bit late announcement... I have decided to move on. July 25th 2008 was my last day at Sun. Sun is a great place to work. Well, you may ask why I am leaving !! No big reason for the move. I am just crazy :) Just want to tryout something different. I worked here for about 8 years. Over the time, I learned lot of things. Started my career here as an engineer, worked with great set of minds. Went out and got my MBA from Babson, while working here. Switched to more of a business role (Product Management). Worked with some of the great marketers in the company. It was an interesting and eventful ride for the past 8 years..... This is going to be my last post on Sun's blogger. Going forward I will be keeping my web logs under http://prakash-aradhya.blogspot.com Prakash Posted at 04:24PM Aug 06, 2008 by prakash in General | Comments[0]

Tiger woods not playing rest of the 08 season
What a disappointing news :( One of the great finishes of 08' US Open championship brings in a mixed feeling. It was great to see Tiger won the major inspite of not playing for several weeks due to surgery. Unfortunately, long stressed game costing him rest of the season. It is not so fun to watch golf games without Tiger. Last year, I happened to go to TPC Boston to watch Deutche Bank Championship. The very reason I went there was to watch Tiger playing. He came second behind Phil. I was thinking about going this time also. But not sure, if it is anymore excitement to go without Tiger playing in it. I am sure his absence in rest of the season will be a huge loss for PGA in ticket sales. I just want to wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he will come back atleast for the FedEX playoff... Anything is POSSIBLE !!!
Anything is Possible ..... This is what Kevin Garnett said responding to a reporter. Yes, Celtics won their 17th NBA Championship yesterday. What a comeback, after 22 years !!! Celtics team on the legendary team in the history, winning the most NBA championships. Fans, critics, and several others had written off Celtics, just a few years ago (as early as 2002). The new management made it a big comeback. Their smart marketing finally paid off.

Data Sheet - More details on Java CAPS 6
If you are looking for more information on Java CAPS or any other sub suites of the product, visit our product page. Specific link to CAPS 6 data sheet - http://www.sun.com/software/javaenterprisesystem/suites/caps_ds.pdf As you would have noticed, we do not have the product for free download yet. You can certainly explore the open source face of the product under http://open-esb.org. Please note, Open ESB is free to download and free to deploy. Also note, that Java CAPS is not just Open ESB. Java CAPS includes some of the Open ESB components. But it is much more than that. All the components of Java CAPS 5 (JCDs, Adapters, BPM, eView, etc...etc...) are available in CAPS 6 in addition to Open ESB Components. On top of that CAPS 6 leverages many of the other open source technologies like GlassFish, NetBeans, Open SSO etc. If you are interested in learning more about the product or buying the product, please visit the "Get Started" on the product page.

As some of you may have already noticed... Sun announced today immediate availability of Java CAPS (Java Compostie Application Platform Suite) and MDM Suite. Here is the link to the press release. http://www.sun.com/aboutsun/pr/2008-06/sunflash.20080609.1.xml CAPS 6 has lot of major enhancements... Just to name a few.. - GlassFish V2 Application server based runtime - NetBeans 6.1 based design time - Project Metro based interoperability. By leveraging project Metro (formerly WSIT) brings the WS interoeprability to SOA level. Now, developers and customers can develop, orchestrate and deploy webservices that incorporate lot of the WS-* specifications and not only interoperable with other Java based webservices but also Microsoft .net based webservices. - CAPS 6 is the way to get product support for most popular open source ESB - Open ESB. - Some of the components from Open ESB are part of the CAPS 6 release (BPEL SE, ETL SE, Java EE SE and Http BC). The big advantage with CAPS 6 is, many of the components that are available on Open ESB project are pluggable to the platform. Developers and customers are welcome to leverage this opportunity and get quick access to lot of these components being developed in the open source.
