Open ESB 2.0 Beta Program Announcement
We are happy to extend an opportunity to you to participate in our upcoming NetBeans Enterprise Pack 5.5.1 community acceptance testing (NetCAT) Beta program. This 5-week program is scheduled to begin on mid-March 12, 2007. If you have experienced the powerful capabilities of NetBeans Enterprise Pack 5.5, you are aware that it allows you to develop enterprise-grade applications right from service creation to service orchestration. OpenESB 2.0 Beta along with NetBeans Enterprise Pack 5.5.1 builds on that and offers additional artifacts for service composition and assembly. FeaturesOpenESB 2.0 is the next generation integration platform built on interoperable, open standards such as Java Business Integration. JBI Runtime is now part of Glassfish V2 (Sun Java System Application Server 9.1). OpenESB leverages WSIT (Webservices interoperability technologies) webservices capabilities to interoperate with other (including Microsoft .net) webservices. OpenESB 2.0 consists of the followingcomponents Design Tool: NetBeans IDE 5.5.1 and Enterprise Pack 5.5.1 Runtime: Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 Preview JBI Runtime and following service engines and binding components. BPEL Service Engine – Implements BPEL 2.0 XSLT Service Engine – Offers XML tranformation Java EE Service Engine – Enables cross functioning of JBI components and Java EE components IEP Service Engine – Intelligent event processor SE collects and processes business events in the real time HTTP Binding Component: Provides HTTP connectivity to the external systems. Supports many latest webservices standards. Leverages WSIT capabilities. JMS Binding Component: Provides ability to connect any JMS based messaging system. File Binding Component: Provides connectivity to File external system SMTP Binding Component: Provides ability to send and receive email messages JDBC Binding Component: Provides ability to connect to different databases FTP Binding Component: Provides ability to do connect to FTP Server MQ Binding Component: Provides ability to connect to Websphere MQ
