Sure we do run on Solaris on a pair of T2000s - I've got a few more details in: Out with the old and in with the new - http://soulfood.dk/archives/2007/08/05/T23_20_11/index.html

The T2000 at OSU (www.us.apache.org) is a donation from Sun, which has been hit by http://www.sun.com/msg/SUN4-8000-4P but is still going on while we try to figure out what to do about the service contract we don't have.

Isn't that a manufacturing fault that requires a replacement by SUN no difference if you have a support agreement or not ? Of course fo a donated box thats still an issue but usualy SUN is pretty helpfyll with problems. At least thats my experience. Easier to get stuff fixed than to get it at all :)
