JRuby/Rails by default uses ActiveRecords package for the purposes of Object Relational Mapping (ORM). JPA is a JavaEE ORM technology and the advantage of JPA is its pluggability. Modeling class and database migration in Rails is what Entity class and persistence provider does in JavaEE.

The TP2 of GlassFish V3 was released just before 2008 JavaONE and the default persistence provider of V3 is Eclipse Link. It'll be interesting to see how easy it is to use JPA in a classic blog rails application. Here is Ming's Blog demo application for GlassFish V3 (with MySQL) and Eclipse Link.

Multiple SIP and Converged HTTP Session in a SailFin Cluster

Yes I know, its all about keywords

SailFin Cluster can be configured with Converged Load-Balancer(CLB), SIP and HTTP requests for a SAS are processed by the same back-end instance. This is achieved by using consistent hash routing policy and appropriate Data Centric Rules (DCR) for extracting the hash key

Sony has the blog to simplify all these keywords of cutting edge technologies

How would you automate a GUI test and still run from command line, along with your other functional tests

Sounds interesting right? - This is our SAT framework

This framework is created using ANT, TestNG and Selenium.
Through this framework, an user will be able to create an automated GUI test case that can be executed in a single command.

Different frameworks used are as follows:
Selenium: This framework is needed for recording a testcase, exporting it into Java, and executing it on a browser
TestNG: This framework is used to organize different tests, and to report results.
ANT: provides the glue to hold everything together, and execute basic commands.
