Empty hallways ... The hallways in my building are empty today. Is it because of layoffs? No.  It's because of Linux World.  Everyone's there but me.  I decided I was too busy working. I wanted to help proselytize (it's like evangelizing only you get to use a baseball bat) Sun Studio along with my buddies, but I'm getting so much done here.  If I could just convince a few more people to go to Linux World, I could get 5 weeks of work done in one week, I'm sure. (*smiley*) I also would have liked to help out at the Free Standards Group booth, since I'm involved with the Dwarf standard project there.  In case you hadn't heard by now, there's a brand new Sun Studio Express release available which includes the Linux compilers, just in time for Linux World.  The README file tells you all the new features. Of course, dbx and the performance analyzer have been working on Linux for years, but now it's time for the compilers to start catching up.
