As a software engineer at Sun my work has focused on two main
areas: integration technologies and the application server.
I have been working on the app server – now the GlassFish project – since late 2003. Over that time most of my attention has been focused on deployment and some interesting aspects of how the app server runs on Windows.
In 2005 I had a great time spec-ing, designing, and building the Java Web Start support for launching app clients, a new feature now in GlassFish, and I'll probably be writing a fair amount on that topic.
