Yes; the dates are not wrong. I had just gotten Vista running, but never got around to posting the screenshot anywhere.

Thanks for the reply.
<p>Would you be able to post your recipe (for installing xVM and running Windows in Solaris)?

Funny that you are clamoring for a recipe; early today I sent our docs writer a draft of an article tentatively entitled "Instant Windows - a recipe for running Windows as a Guest on Solaris xVM."
She should have it posted on our opensolaris site shortly.

Which builds contain xVM?

opensolaris.org has a build 66-based xVM drop (the project is still called Xen on opensolaris, but will soon be renamed to xVM). We just integrated into the mainline Nevada tree, build 75, so once that is available externally I recommend using it instead as it will have all of the latest fixes.

Awesome, I'll wait for build 75, thanks for the info and your work!

Am I correct in assuming that I need a processor with VT/AMD-V support to run XP/Vista with xVM?

Yes, that is correct. Opteron rev F or later, or Intel with VT.

Very cool. Congratulations to the matrix team.
There's one thing visibly wrong in this screen shot -
there are four clocks visible on the screen (from four
different VMs, I believe), and no two of them display
the same time. Yes, I know this is one of the rough
edges on most virtualization technologies, but it's
sad nonetheless.
