Google-proof trivia

I have a trivia question for you: Where could you find the following, geographically co-located: Clapham Junction, Tower Hamlets, Sebastopol, Winnipeg, along with Salvation Corner, Daylight Corner and Suicide Road? And don't bother Googling for them, I think I have picked cunningly enough for that not to be a useful option. ;^) Spoiler warning: answer is in the Commments.

I think this has something to do with the first World War. The troops gave names like these to parts of the trench system. Gary

So, I would say, geographically, the Somme Valley.

Like Gary, my first thought was WW1 trenches. My second was that we might be dealing with passages and chambers in some large cave complex, like Cheddar Gorge, Mammoth, or Carlsbad Caverns. And my third (depressingly similar to the first) was British Army patrol areas in southern Iraq.

Awwww. That was obviously too easy.
Yes, these are all names given to parts of the Ypres salient in WW1. The ones I would have liked to include (except that they made a Google search too revealing) were Shrapnel Crossing, Dead Cow Farm and my favourite: Dirty Bucket Corner.
The obvious ironic humour which went into a lot of the names (Hyde Park Corner) just makes them all the more chilling.
