Thursday July 29, 2004 Features of NFSv4 As mentioned by Adam , one of the cool new features added in Solaris is the next version of NFS - NFSv4. NFSv4 is based on RFC 3530. There are lot of new features in NFSv4:
* Unsharing and Resharing a File System
* Volatile File Handles
* Delegation
* Client-Side Failover
* Recovery
