A Peek into Solaris Sustaining engineer's life...

Intro

I am an engineer in Solaris Sustaining and Engineering group working on
NFS & Naming products. Our group supports following products on all
supported versions of Solaris[TM].

   * NFS 
   * lofs 
   * cachefs 
   * autofs 
   * RPC 
   * Native LDAP client 
   * NIS+ 
   * NIS 
   * DNS 
   * Sendmail 
   * Kerberos (SEAM) 


I joined Sun Microsystems in Mar, 2000 after completing my Masters at 
Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and since then have worked on 
most of the above products except DNS & Sendmail. I am also SEED [1]
member and am mentored by Alec Muffet.

My interests include 

   * listening music 
   * watching movies(English, Hindi & Telugu) 
   * Reading & learning new stuff
   * trekking
   * and playing/watching sports. 

I listen to Hindi and Telugu songs, watch most of the movies (HBO was 
my favourite channel) and play games like Chess, Ping Pong/Table Tennis, 
Volley ball, Carroms and watch Cricket, Tennis, Football/Soccer.
