OSC2007 OpenSolaris
オープンソースカンファレンス 2007 Tokyo Fall が明日から開催されます。10/5 金曜日 14 時からは OpenSolaris のセッションがあります。
OpenSolaris の動向について、Sun の増月さんが話すのですが、そこに私もちょっとだけ参加させてもらうことにしました。7-8 分もらえるそうなので、日本での活動について紹介しようと思います。その場でいくつか聞いてみたいこともあるんですが、何人ぐらい来てくれるのかなぁ...。
実際、活動を紹介するっていうより、活動に参加して! とお願いすることがメインのメッセージなんですよね。何が足りないのか、どうすればもっと面白くなるのか、よく考えているんだけど、ひとりで考えていても何も進まないんですよね、実際。なので、こういう機会に人と会って見たり聞いたり話したりして、先のことを考えていきたいなと思っています。

We're having the Open Source Conference Tokyo/Fall, and OpenSolaris session starts 14:00 on 10/5 tomorrow !
Takanobu Masuzuki will talk about what's happening on OpenSolaris for 1 hour, and I asked him to give me a couple of minutes to talk about what's happening to Japanese community.
To be honest, I want to see and ask people in the conference for any idea to make our activity more interesting, rather than showing what's going on. Time to time, I try to think myself what is the best or possible ways to "work" with OpenSolaris Japanese community, but soon I feel I'm stack.
My favorite way to solve the problem is "Take Action", rather than "Sit and Think". So I believe it is the good opportunity for me to see, listen to, and communicate with people who I want to "work" with.
